About us

The beginning

The Practice was founded back in 1985 by Mac Kotecha, bringing with him a handful of clients from the West-End practice he was previously a partner at. He set the practice up in Central London (opposite Hamleys Toyshop) but as the handful of dental clients told their friends and family how happy they were with the service, client numbers grew and grew; and in 1986, the practice relocated to larger premises at Finchley Central where we are still located today.

In 1994, Anil Kotecha (no relation!) joined as partner bringing with him expertise and knowledge from non dental fields.

Mac’s daughter, Priya, joined the firm in 2000 as a green trainee chartered accountant, working up to becoming a partner in 2010.

Since 1985, the number of dentists we act for has grown to approximately 300 but we take great pride in still offering the same level of highly personalised service to clients. We are, after all, a small family firm so recognise the importance of this. We have an excellent nationwide reputation for providing a high quality, personal service to dental clients in a pro-active and practical manner, with a focus on tax saving.

Values

Our core values have always been, and will remain, to offer our clients the highest level of service at a value for money price. We do not have “a one size fits all” approach as we recognise that every client is different. We are honest and sincere in the way that we work – values without which a successful working relationship is impossible.

We are also deeply passionate about what we do and enjoy it immensely. We take pleasure from extra activities like lecturing to groups of young dentists exploring their options when it comes to buying their first dental practice, writing articles in the dental press to highlight important issues dentists need to be aware of, and even tweeting tips to dentists! The greatest pleasure of all though continues to be servicing happy clients!

Customer care is not a science, it is simply a case of making sure our clients are happy: we respond promptly to client requests; we are proactive in offering advice; our clients know their best interests are foremost in our actions; we are always looking at new ways to help our clients; and we believe your success is ultimately our success (which it is).

Objectives

Very simple – we want our clients to be happy and have peace of mind knowing that their affairs are arranged in a tax efficient manner that is appropriate for them and in a way which involves adequate records being kept in a simple and straightforward way without taking up too much of their time.
